TEXARKANA, Ar. (KTAL / KMSS) – Nine people were shot dead and one seriously injured at a Halloween party in Arkansas late Saturday night.
Police said an 911 call for a shooting was received at Octavia’s Activity Center on the 2300 block on Texas Boulevard just before midnight. There were over 200 people attending a Halloween party when the suspect opened fire.
When the police arrived there was a fight at the scene. It was not immediately known whether the suspect attended the party before the shooting.

Of the nine injured, one was in critical condition. Some of the wounded drove themselves to the hospital.
Police had no suspects in custody early Sunday morning.
