Alabama ends July with 2022 offensive lineman signing

Alabama’s 2022 recruiting class has added a second offensive tackle.

Dayne Shor announced Saturday afternoon that he has signed the Tide to fellow finalists from Oregon, Florida, Texas A&M, Georgia, Tennessee and Oklahoma.

Shor is rated three stars and 364th nationally in the composition of 247 Sports, while Rivals rates him four stars.

The product from Alpharetta, Georgia, played at Denmark High School before moving to IMG Academy in Florida last year. He missed out on playing last season with a shoulder injury and returned to Georgia to play his senior season at King’s Ridge Christian School that fall.

Shor joins top 40 prospect Tyler Booker, his teammate at IMG last season, as offensive tackles in the Alabama 2022 class. The pair will join an offensive line next year that added two five-star tackles in JC Latham and Tommy Brockermeyer this year.

Shor is Alabama’s sixth engagement in July. The Tide’s 2022 class now has 14 recruits and was ranked 3rd nationwide out of 247 sports that entered Saturday.
