Twitter reacts to Jordan Battle’s INT

The Allstate Sugar Bowl is underway in New Orleans and the Alabama defense has already made a big play for the Crimson Tide.

On Kansas State’s opening possession, the Wildcats moved the ball to around midfield before senior safety Jordan Battle picked off Will Howard when he attempted to hit star running Deuce Vaughn on a wheel route.

The interception was Battle’s first of his senior season and it couldn’t have come at a better time.

Unfortunately, Bryce Young and the Alabama offense could not take advantage of the turnover and quickly went three and out.

Following Battle’s interception, Twitter quickly exploded.

No better time than now

Jordan Battle with his first turnover of the season. Great time for the senior DB to make a play.

Great discipline from Battle

Jordan Battle with great coverage and eye discipline to come up with the interception. This ends K-State’s first drive.

Battle did his part, the Alabama offense not so much

Kansas State playing with great pace during their first drive and Jordan Battle came in and ruined it all.

Time to see how Bama’s first drive goes.

Really was a thing of beauty

Nice play on the ball for Jordan Battle on that INT. He had the leverage the second the ball was released.
