Walmart is giving two Arkansas companies a chance on their open call

BENTONVILLE, Ark – Two Arkansas-based companies broke through at Walmart’s eighth annual Open Call event to get their products onto retailer’s shelves.

Camo dust, based in Lonoke and headquartered in Bentonville Bucklebury everyone told the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal about their dealings with Walmart.

The two companies were among 900 entrepreneurs to virtually pitch products to buyer teams on June 30th. Walmart said it was the largest group of entrepreneurs in the eight years it has hosted the event. The 900 attendees were selected from more than 12,000 meeting requests received by the retail giant.
