Chick-Fil-A Kickoff officials revealed the stadium’s COVID-19 guidelines for Saturday’s game, including information about masks and whether or not the roof is open.

Alabama and Miami will meet at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. CT / 3:30 p.m. ET.
Will the roof of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium be open on Saturday?
The roof will be open for the Alabama vs. Miami college football game on Saturday, Chick-Fil-A kickoff officials announced on Monday.
On Saturday, the roof will open for a college football game for the first time.
Do you have to wear a mask in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday?
Since the roof of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium will open on Saturday, fans do not have to wear a mask in the open-air areas of the stadium, including the inner shell and the hall.
However, markings are promoted throughout the stadium. In closed rooms such as club seats, press stands or retail shops, it is mandatory to wear a mask.
The stadium staff is masked at all times.

When do the gates in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium open?
The gates are scheduled to open at 12:30 p.m. CT / 1:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
Parking lot at Mercedes-Benz Stadium
Parking lots are scheduled to open at 6:00 a.m. CT / 7:00 a.m. ET on Saturday.
Fans can access the stadium parking spaces via the Mercedes-Benz stadium app or via parking.mercedesbenzstadium.com. Parking prices can range from $ 9.21 to $ 136.60 and can be filtered by location or single exit.
Parking is only available on a first-come, first-serve basis upon arrival. Due to limited parking, fans are advised to use MARTA, Atlanta’s main public transport company.
The Philips Arena / GWCC / Georgia Dome and the Vine City stations offer connections to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium Wallet Policy
According to the Mercedes-Benz stadium website, bags must meet the following criteria in order to be allowed in the stadium:
- Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags only, cannot be larger than 12 x 6 x 12 inches
- Opaque pockets are allowed but must be less than 4.5 “x 6.5”
- Changing bags must be clear and accompany a child
Fans with a bag that does not comply with the stadium rules can store their belongings in lockers outside the stadium for a fee. The Mobile Locker Company is available for most events from 2 hours before kick-off to 1.5 hours after the event has ended.
Can I take cash with me to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium?
The Mercedes-Benz Stadium is a cashless event location, but 10 cash-to-card kiosks are available just in case.
Can I open a tailgate in the Mercedes-Benz stadium?
Tailgating is permitted in the stadium’s own parking spaces. Parking spaces open at 6:00 a.m. CT / 7:00 a.m. ET on Saturdays.
