Nicole Denise Jackson was found Friday, WBRC reported.

“Nicole has been located,” said her family. “She is safe and in good health. It was personally verified by the State Department. “

Her family has not spoken to her yet but is grateful that she was found safe.

Last month the family asked for help finding Jackson, who left the country and moved to Munich in 2018, to pursue their interest in music and be with a man they met online, WBRC reported.

Her sister Ela Vaughn hadn’t spoken to Jackson since 2018. At that time, Jackson stopped updating some of her social media pages and deleting others. Her parents had heard of Jackson intermittently but had not received any news from her in about a year.

Jackson contacted officers after a family-employed private investigator tracked her down through the man she met, WBRC reported.

“We have prayed for their safety, and it has worked out in our favor,” said Vaughn.
