After what felt like the longest weekend of the season in Knoxville, the Tennessee Lady Vols have a chance Monday to bounce back from their first SEC loss of the season.

“The loss on Thursday, it was tough for all of us,” Tennessee coach Kellie Harper said Sunday. “It has been a long three days here. Our team took it hard. I think they have a pretty good mindset, they have a pretty good attitude at this point. One of the hardest things that happened was, we had an off-day Friday. When you lose, you want to get back out there with your team.”

the no 5 Lady Vols (18-2, 7-1 SEC) face Arkansas (14-6, 4-3) for the second time this season Monday (7 pm, SEC Network), this time at Thompson-Boling Arena. Tennessee came out on top on the road 70-63 on Jan 2.

Tennessee was announced a No. 1 seed in the NCAA selection committee’s first reveal Thursday before losing to Auburn. The loss dropped the Lady Vols to No. 2 in ESPN’s Charlie Creme’s bracketology.

Arkansas is coming off a massive upset over LSU, putting up 90 points and going 13-of-25 from behind the arc. The Razorbacks are No. 24 in the NCAA NET rankings, though they have yet to crack the top 25 rankings this season.
