Tennessee Titans have among easiest remaining schedules in NFL

After a 2-1 start, the Tennessee Titans are expected to be among the easiest schedules in the NFL, according to multiple outlets.

According to Pro Football Focus, Tennessee’s remaining schedule is the second lightest in the NFL, only behind the Miami Dolphins. The strength of the schedule for the Titans’ first three games is in 16th place, in the middle of the field.

ESPN’s Mike Clay has developed his own strength in schedule forecasting, and in it he has the Titans in fourth place behind the Buffalo Bills, Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Interestingly, all four AFC South teams are in the top 10 of Clay’s predictions.

The Titans have two very winnable games over the next two weeks with matchups against the currently winless New York Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars.

However, the schedule gets brutal in the weeks that follow as Tennessee takes on the Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Rams, and New Orleans Saints.

Such a track makes it even more important for the Titans to win these next two games to leave some headroom for what is arguably their toughest track of the competitions during the 2021 campaign.
