Hello everybody. Thank you for joining us for the 40 29 tv dot com weather cast. We have to give you another quick update. We now have a winter storm warning for Northwest Arkansas through 6 p.m. tonight. And that’s because we’re going to see a lot more of that moisture flowing through. This will give us a chance to sleep. *** a bit of freezing rain, *** also a bit of snow. We also have an ice storm warning heading towards Polk and Scott counties. This also extends towards Little Rock. So if you have family friends in little rock let them know they have this ice storm warning in effect that will last through February what is this winter weather advice that includes everything both pink and this lighter purple colored, this is also possible until February 1st. So it’s gonna take a damn while. We’ll be keeping an eye out for that winter weather forecast. I want to show you first, but we’re looking at this very second right now. So that’s about 11, 11 30 or so when this was recorded right here. And that’s what we’re looking at with this humidity and that’s going to continue for the foreseeable future, but of course it’s becoming more likely that it’s going to continue for the rest of the day. But that moisture, you can see how long that moisture is, and it’s probably going to find its way into the river valley later in the day. So of course I want to show you what this model will show us next. So that’s what we call their model, and it does a pretty good job on those short-term forecasts for a day or two. So here’s what we see at 1:00 p.m. From that humidity you can still see it right there, *** a bit of snow mixed in there. If we manage to break through this pocket of warm air and get above our atmosphere, we could be just in the upper part of our atmosphere. That’s why we’re seeing this actual sleet and freezing rain, if we can break through there might be a bit of snow as well. But if we’re also just below freezing on the surface we might just see a little bit of rain and that’s something we definitely like to see is a little bit of that rain but you could see a little bit of this mix of * ** a little snow, *** a little rain. Everything really depends on ***. Lots of things like humidity levels will of course depend on your altitude when your lower altitude is likely to be a bit warmer and of course that temperature is the biggest factor but that humidity will persist through our afternoon evening which more than likely gives us a *** decent amount this sleet, freezing rain, snow, all this also brings this rainy season and it will start to pack up when we get into our evening but it’s not quite over yet. We can still see a tiny little bit of that freezing drizzle, although our models don’t really feel it on our Tuesday morning, but it will continue as more moisture is expected to move in by mid-morning on our Tuesday. This will continue again into our afternoon. Seeing a heck of a lot of that purple it’s just mixed freezing rain could be a possibility for this Tuesday afternoon and that humidity will eventually move on as we get into this Tuesday evening and overnight. Hopefully temperatures will have risen high enough by Wednesday when the next surge of humidity rolls in. It should just rain mostly. But we’ll continue to provide you with updates on what to expect as you deploy under 40 29 updates every half hour or so. Also, you can reach us at 569 and 10 tonight.
